Updated Sections

Here are updated floor plans. I have done them in SketchUp first to gather comments from my classmates and then I will draw out the final floor plans. Below is ground level with a glass elevator in the middle with wrap around stairs to the second level. Included on the ground level are bathrooms, customer service, and a storage area. This level is mainly for displaying of electronics. Views mainly from this level are for pedestrians looking in.The second level has an outside baldcony for customers to go out and use electronics like they would in everyday life. The Internet cafe is located on this level with plenty of spaces to sit and relax with friends or to research products. This level is mainly for customers to come, relax, and socialize with other customers. Merchandise is not on display on this level. The Internet Cafe is located to the left next to the glass elevator. Views from this level is of the New Old Church and Copley Square.

Below is the third level which is also for selling merchandise. This floor has an internal balcony that overlooks the second level internet cafe. The outside balcony is not accessible from this level. The access to the balcony is in between the second and third level by stairs or elevator. Views from this level are mainly of Copley Square.

Below is the fourth level which is mainly for teaching. There are two classrooms located in the front for customers to sign out. The classroom in the back is for orientation of new workers. Windows are in each classroom with views of either the New Old Church or Copley Square.

Stacey,

These are no plans, which actually would be orthogonal projections. You can use the sketchup model (plus annotations, colors, etc) as a base and have a 3D components, but is needs to be a plan view.

How are you going to annotate and show how the plans address your "stay and play" theme and the program?
